MedRx Appoints Vangie Neeley, AuD as Director of Audiology

MedRx, Inc. announces the appointment of  Dr. Vangie Neeley as Director of Audiology at their corporate headquarters in Largo, Florida.  

Dr. Neeley has over 28 years of clinical, educational and private practice experience within the hearing care field and received her doctorate degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2001.  Dr. Neeley’s primary duties are to support and expand clinical and diagnostic instrumentation sales, develop and implement external and internal training programs, consult and advise with MedRx product designers, and establish liaisons to the audiology and medical professions. Vangie will be based out of  Largo, Florida.

MedRx, Inc. Announces Enhancement to REM Speech Probe Microphone Design

MedRx, Inc. announces complete new ergonomic and functional upgrades to its popular AVANT REM Speech Real Ear and Live Speech Mapping system probe microphone system. The new design includes the ability to conduct simultaneous or individual FFT dual probe measurements and if desired, be able to speech map both ears at the same time. In
addition MedRx introduces its new Sure-ProbeTM
probe tube assembly which allows the tester to place the probe tube into the ear canal and ensure that it stays in place while inserting the hearing instrument.

The new MedRx probe microphone system also offers an easily adjustable loop design which provides simple adjustability to fit any ear size.   A unique feature of the enhanced design is the Blue (L) and Red (R) Lighted Ear probes, providing an instantaneous visual clue as to which ear is the test ear on the patient.  MedRx has also added the new DSL and NAL-NL1 targets for Speech Mapping.  The new probe microphone system will work with previous AVANT REM Speech designs, except for the lighting of the probes. Contact MedRx for trade up information.
